Fresh peppers, that come from contracted farmers
who grow pepperoncini under the control of agricultural engineer,
are separated as < 3 cm, 3-6 cm and > 6 cm according to their
sizes.
Spotted, broken and decayed peppers, leaves and
foreign matters are sorted out. Selected good quality peppers are
filled into barrels and brine is added.
The brine consists of water,
salt, acetic acid, citric acid, sodium benzoate, sodium bisulfite
and calcium chloride. The peppers, which are kept in brine for
20 days min., are packed as 2-4 cm pepperoncini or 3-6 cm. pepperoncini
depending on the customer's request.

Dried tomatoes are produced from sound, whole,
ripe, red fresh tomatoes which are selected, washed with water,
halved, salted or sulphited (according to customer request),
then sun dried under controlled conditions. Dried tomatoes
are packed and stored in our cold warehouses at +4 / +7 o C
for uniform red colour retention and microbiological protection.
Flavour of reconstituted product is characteristic of fresh
tomato without off taste. Sun dried tomato halves are selected,
washed by microbiologically controlled water, selected once
more, then vacuum packed and metal detected and put into cartons.
During processing and storage GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
standards are in place. |

Processed figs are dried figs at Ficus Carica
variety and called as ‘' SARILOP'' . Figs are prepared from
matured, clean and sun dried figs. Especially in the certain
area of the Aegean Region, depending on the climate, the figs
have thin skin and high sweet (honey) contents . So our figs
and fig products have different specialities from the others.
The sun dried figs are firstly calibrated then they are passed and controlled
under theU.V light. Selected good quality products are washed and all foreign
materials are removed. During the selection steps; sun burned or damaged, mouldy,
spoilt and fermented figs are removed.
High quality products are packed into different packaging materials. Packaging
depends on the customer's demand, and all finished packs are metal detected for
final check. This process takes place under the highest hygiene standards and
manufacturing practice. |

Processed Sultanas are dried seedless grapes
of the Vitis Vineferat variety. The Sultanas are prepared from
clean and sun dried grapes produced along our own handling
procedures by selected growers. All sultanas are stemmed, capstemmed,
double washed (UV filtered and chlorinated water), sized, mechanically
cleaned, triple laserscanned, handpicked on stainless steel
tables and metal detected for on-line and final checks.
Sultanas
are coated with vegetable oil in order to avoid clumping. The
fruit is in free flowing condition. This process takes place
under the highest standards of hygiene and manufacturing practise.

The variety of Turkish sun dried apricots
is Prunus armeniaca L. And called as "Þekerpare" .
The origin of this fruit is Malatya which is in Eastern Anatolia
Region. Drying process begins by reaping of fresh and ripe
fruits from the trees into the cases and continues with sulphur
dioxide cure for 2 or 3 days, then dried under the sun, semi-dried
fruits are pitted by hand. In our plant, all apricots are mechanically
washed, dried in oven to reach the optimum moisture content,
and inspected on the lighted belt and tables to remove any
foreign material and defects.
Whole pitted apricots are packed into cartons and metal detected for final check.
The apricots contain no other additives. This process takes place under the highest
standards of hygiene and good manufacturing practices. |
